Silkies are a very popular bantam, due to their small size, and their unique feathers, that
feel more like very soft hair or fur, than regular chicken feathers. They lay small white eggs, and are excellent setters
of all types of eggs. Many people use them as little incubators to hatch other types of eggs as well. They have unique blueish
/black skin, and feathered toes. They are very dosile birds, and make excellent pets. They cannot fly more than a few feet
off the ground.
These birds are very easy to care for, and very beautiful !
All our parent birds are very pretty, healthy, and
farm raised.
